Time Lost is Brain Lost
When You're Having A Stroke!
The first 3 hours of a stroke are the most crucial!
Recognize the signs of a Stroke
. Sudden numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg,
especially on one side of the body.
. Sudden severe headache with no known cause.
. Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or
coordination.
. Sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes.
. Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding.
Getting medical attention in the first 3 hours of a stroke
will greatly improve your chance of recovery.

Doctors can inject medication intravenously to break up
blood clots, or do emergency surgery, both of which can
significantly limit the damage caused by stroke.

If you experience any of these symptoms,
call your local emergency hotline
immediately and see medical attention!
